Job Description
The candidate must have strong communication and collaboration skills since the job requires interaction with customers, sometimes in-person.
You will be expected to work with little supervision, however collaboration with other consultants, third-party vendors, and third-party solutions providers is expected. You should be able to plan, organize and execute tasks individually or as part of a team.
We encourage creativity and process improvement, and value team members that can switch gears and bring creative solutions to the table – especially in challenging scenarios.
ALLFOUR is a firm believer of work/life balance, so we emphasize proactive, planned work rather than reactive, stressful work. However, after-hours work might be necessary sometimes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), servers, workstations, connections to the Internet and peripheral equipment
- Evaluate, procure, and install computer hardware and software
- Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
- Create internal and external documentation for procedures and operations
- Maintain client-related documentation including but not limited to: Site Maps, Software and Hardware Audits, User and Password Lists, Software Installation Guides, Service Reports, IP Scheme and Exceptions, Checklists, Deployment Documentation, and Backup Reviews
- Ensure client satisfaction
- Maintain detailed and accurate schedule
- Maintain a record of all work done each day through ticketing systems
- Be consistently punctual for all scheduled appointments, in-person, office, and remote work
Hands-on, practical experience required:
- Windows Server (Installation and Configuration)
- Enterprise Server Roles (Hyper-V, Exchange, SQL, AD)
- Cloud Applications (Office 365, SharePoint, Exchange Online)
- Perform batch scripting or other basic scripting tasks with PowerShell, Batch, VBScript, etc.
- VPN, Tunneling, Site-to-site Routing
- Ubiquiti Networks (UniFi, Installation, Configuration and Administration)
- Networking Software, Hardware, and Security (Routers, Switches)
- Disaster Recovery Procedures (Backups / Disk Imaging)
- ID Administration (AD / Azure)
- Computer Hardware (Primarily PC)
- Windows Workstation (Installation and Configuration)
- Windows Applications (Office 365)
Education and Skills:
- A post-secondary computer course with focus on computer/network systems administration or equivalent real-world experience.
- Certifications such as MCTS, MCITP, MCSE, A+, Network+, or equivalent real-world experience.
- Prior experience in the IT Services Field.
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team.
- Prior customer-facing experience in the IT industry would be an asset.
Additional Information:
You must have a valid driver’s licence and own a reliable car with winter tires for the winter season.
We require Police Clearance, business, and personal references.

- Have a “No Task is Too Small” mentality. Often you will be handling a job that involves all aspects of Software Development and Automation, ranging from a simple macro in Excel to complex multi-tiered applications. We do it all!
Hands-on experience required:
- System Analysis
- Software Development / Programming with focus on task automation and process improvement.
- Programming Languages: C#, VB6, VBA, VB .NET, Python.
- Web Programming & frameworks: IIS, ASP.net, OData, WCF.
- Database Platforms & frameworks: Microsoft SQL Server, Entity Framework, EF Core.
- Perform batch scripting or other basic scripting tasks with PowerShell, Batch, VBScript, etc.
- Reporting and Data Visualization Tools: Crystal Reports, Microsoft Report Viewer, Excel, SQL
- Project Management.
- Familiarity with ERP Customization and Automation: Sage 300 (Accpac), Sage 50 (Simply), Syteline, is an asset, but not required.
- Familiarity with consuming APIs such as COM Interop, SOAP/REST/webapi is an asset.
Education and Skills:
- A post-secondary computer course with focus on programming or equivalent real-world experience.
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team whether you are at the office or at the customer site.
- Prior experience in the software development field would be an asset.
